Adventure Packages

Bush Direct works with a local adventure company to offer exciting activities and sports to compliment your project!  These are usually added onto the end of your project.  You can choose from 2 days or 5 days depending on how many activities you would like to experience.

Volunteers in the Limpopo area can choose from the following two packages:

Adventure Package 2 day Midweek

This package consists of:

  • 1 night’s accommodation in our fully equipped chalets (2 beds, bathroom en-suite, linen, towels and serviced daily)

  • 3 meals per day

  • 4 adventure activities (which include the Magoebaskloof Canopy Tour and choice of 3 : Quad Biking, Tubing,  Abseiling, Horse riding, Hiking, Kloofing (Canyoning)

Itinerary

Day 1 :

  • 08h00 – Transport to venue from Tzaneen

  • 10h00 – Magoebaskloof Canopy Tour

  • 13h00 -  Lunch at local restaurant in Haenertsburg

  • 14h00 – Adventure activity 1

  • 19h00 – Pub evening and dinner (excluding drinks)

Day 2 :

  • 09h00 – Breakfast

  • 10h00 – Adventure activity 2

  • 13h00 -  Lunch at local restaurant in Haenertsburg

  • 14h00 – Adventure activity 3

  • 16h00 – Transport back to Tzaneen

  • Dinner + Accommodation in local guest house

Adventure Package 5 Day Midweek

This package consists of:

  • 2 night’s accommodation in our fully equipped chalets (2 beds, bathroom en-suite, linen, towels and serviced daily)

  • 1 night camping in tented camp in Wolkberg mountains

  • 1 night in Kruger National Park (Olifants or Satara Camp)

  • 3 meals per day

  • 6 adventure activities - (which include the Magoebaskloof Canopy Tour, as well as a choice of 5 other activities - Quad Biking, Abseiling and Tubing, Horse Riding, Climbing and Kloofing (canyoning), Paddling and Hiking)

Day 1 :

  • 08h00 – Transport to venue from Tzaneen

  • 10h00 – Magoebaskloof Canopy Tour

  • 13h00 -  Lunch at local restaurant in Haenertsburg

  • 14h00 – Adventure activity 1

  • 19h00 – Pub evening Iron Crown Pub and dinner (excluding drinks)

Day 2 :

  • 09h00 – Breakfast

  • 10h00 – Adventure activity 2

  • 13h00 -  Lunch at local restaurant in Haenertsburg

  • 14h00 – Adventure activity 3

  • 19h00 – Pizza evening Pot and Plow Pub (excluding drinks)

Day 3 :

  • 05h00 – Depart for Kruger National Park

  • 09h00 – Breakfast at Letaba camp

  • Game Drive

  • 13h00 -  Lunch

  • Game Drive

  • 17h00 – Arrival at camp

  • 19h00 – Dinner (excluding drinks)

Day 4 :

  • 06h00 - Game Drive

  • 09h00 – Breakfast

  • Game Drive

  • 14h00 – Hoedspruit Kapama Cheetah Rehab Centre

  • 19h00 – Dinner in Haenertsburg (excluding drinks)

Day 5 :

  • 13h00 -  Lunch at local restaurant in Haenertsburg

  • 14h00 – Adventure activity 5

  • 16h00 – Transport back to Tzaneen

What is Included – 2 day package

Transport from Tzaneen to the Activity Centre, 3 meals a day, 1 night’s accommodation, 4 adventure activities with full supervision from qualified instructors. 1 extra night’s accommodation + dinner + breakfast before transferring to the airport.

What is Included – 5 day package

Transport from Tzaneen to the Activity Centre, 3 meals a day, 4 night’s accommodation, entry to Kruger Park and all Game drives etc within the Park for 2 days, entry to  rehabilitation Centres, Adventure activities with full supervision from qualified instructors. 1 extra night’s accommodation + dinner + breakfast before transferring to the airport.

What is not Included – both packages

Flights, medical/travel insurance, transport to Tzaneen from your project (arranged at a small cost), alcoholic drinks, luxury items such as alcohol, cigarettes, chocolate etc
